Starting a thread for E-fu. We got E-fu a few weeks ago and he's been loving life so far. He was very shy at first and wouldn't let us feed or pet him, so we gave him space by letting him explore his home and watch from a distance. It was definitely a big change for E-fu to get accustomed with the noise at our home, since we have two dogs and a 6 month old baby. We got him a hamster hut, but he's not a big fan of it. We've been enjoying watching him burrow and run on his Niteangel wheel (he absolutely loves this wheel--highly recommend). Before he first got on it, he sniffed the whole thing to get comfortable. Fast forward to now, E-fu takes food and treats from us and lets us pet him! One our dogs loves watching E-fu explore, eat, and run on his wheel. He's a very happy hamster and I'm excited to give updates about his adventures.
I did notice your dog was near the tank on the photo. It would be better to try and keep him away from the hamster tank really as hamsters can feel stressed by the scent of cats and dogs, being prey species. But he sounds to be happy and well settled in
