Aww thanks and he's currently in a bin cage atm (sadly too small) but im in the process of getting the funds to make both him and dolly there own diy wooden and glass cages

Both albi and dolly are looking forward to getting there new wheels on Saturday as currently we only 1 flying saucer and its too small , pics of the little hams and the wheel im getting.

Aw lovely to see them. Is that a real mushroom? I did not know hamsters could eat mushrooms.

Mushrooms probably aren’t the best thing for them regularly but it shouldn’t do any harm.

There’s quite a lot of debate about giving hamsters mushrooms, I think a lot of the views that you shouldn’t comes from research on toxic mushrooms, I have yet to find anything that shows a good reason not to give the kind of mushrooms that you buy in the supermarket & I can’t find anything that shows any ill effects nor can I think of a good reason why they might be harmful so personally I think a little piece once in a while would be fine.

Thanks all and for those wondering bottom mushrooms are safe in small amounts (dolly didn't touch hers and albi ate about half) they are also enjoying there new wheels and albi is hardly off his , he doesn't even mind that its pink lol (sadly I couldn't pick the colours) . I will try and get some more pictures soon and will be uploading aloy more after they are in there new cages I am planning on building them.

I am so glad I didn't get a pink wheel! I already have one watermelon type pink wheel and would have preferred it to be a different colour! My trixie wheel is lime green - which I like. Of course the hamsters can't even see what colour it is so it doesn't matter to them (although apparently they can see blue and green a little bit).

I bet they are enjoying their new wheels Yes I agree with you and Elusive about the mushrooms.

Both dolly and albi wanted to come say hi tonight (first decent photos I have managed to get of them ) albi still doesn't like to be handled but will let me hand feed him.
