Does Happy know I am sick?

Oh I do adore my little girl! Home from a surgery today (me not her) and I was a little scared to get her out tonight since I don’t feel great and I can’t move too quick to pick her up if she decides to make a run for it I couldn’t not get her out though, she’s never had a day without being out yet.

But no she has been in bed with me good as gold! Very very affectionate and stayed very close to me. She usually is a little mischievous but not tonight. Can she sense something maybe? She has brought me so much comfort on my awful day as if she knew it was needed!

So sweet! Hamsters are very affectionate and have amazing senses so I'm sure she is sensing you don't feel well. I hope you feel better soon and it's not too awful

I am sure they do know things like this yes They are really quite sensitive creatures and seem to respond to our moods as well. I am sure they know when you're sad as well. I so know that feeling about being worried about not being able to move quick enough to pick them up without doing a nasty to yourself! Had it with various injuries and things in the last few years! One of mine has playpen time for that reason. The other is good as gold, always walks into a tube if offered, and homes back to my feet I trained him well ha ha.
