Thank youNormal salad cress should be fine for them although it might be a bit peppery, I’ve never tried it with hamsters.
That one is 70% rape which is milder in flavour apparently, never tried that one either, they can eat rape seed but I really don’t know anything about rape sprouts tbh.

Thank you. I didn't know about the mustard. I brought a pot of cress yesterday. I will double check the ingredients.The problem with cress is that it isn’t always cress!
This one is only 30% cress but the rape is fine, I have seen mustard & cress labelled as just cress in the past & you wouldn’t want that for a hamster.
I haven’t even looked at cress in the shops for a long time but it seems that they’re using rape quite a lot now in place of mustard as it grows more quickly & reliably.
Best to always check the ingredients whatever the label says.
