Remind me not to wear a brand new white linen t shirt when cooking ................ Especially with someone else in the kitchen to bump into you when you have a tin of tomatoes in your hand. Hey ho.

When you're busy it's so easy to just take a chance. It sounds like it was a useful item that would fit with everything, darn

Linen is quite a practical material, it should be interesting to see how it turns out after treatment.

It seems ok after washing in cold water I do have an apron and never wear it ha ha.

I often find white clothes to be a risk! Many of mine have a stain or two. I somehow seem to have developed a knack of spilling food down my front. Must be an age thing (60 plus).

I know! White tops are so nice - but very prone to get noticeable stains. I never seem to spill anything down dark coloured tops

Luckily (or unluckily) white isn't my colour, so I've missed out on wearing it, but haven't had to deal with stains. If it was me, I'm sure I'd be part of the stained shirt club

It was just so nice and cool for this hot weather and bought recently to replace another white linen t shirt that I loved and got wrecked during the pandemic in a hot wash. Which was also a silly thing to do but it was a chaotic time.

Spaghetti bol is my worst nightmare tomato with grease if I'm wearing anything new or decent I tuck a tea towel in my neckline granny's bib

Yes, it has a tendency to splatter. I tend to find renegade splashes of sauce on cupboards and doors days after cooking it
