Has anyone frozen tiny bits of chicken then defrosted at room temperature I haven't as Pete has it only on the day it's freshly cooked but it would be handy to have a small amount in the freezer for the week we have it in sauce not roasted he only has a teeny piece so don't think every week would be too often unless someone here thinks differently interested in your thoughts on this one I'm very cautious with chicken

Once a week should be fine but beyond that I can’t help as I have no idea about what to do with meat!

Yes, I've done this before. I would either defrost it in the fridge, or put it in a plastic bag and run that under cold water to defrost it, then feed it immediately. I wouldn't leave it at room temperature because it might grow bacteria.

Good point Daisy will do that pleased to know someone else has frozen chicken.
