I would love to do a photo but it is impossible for me. I hope other members can.

I find themes a real challenge because the hamsters won't sit still for long enough and the props need to be safe for hamsters.

I'll have a go at something at the weekend.

Just a bauble maybe? Or a Christmas backdrop :) It doesn't need many props.

Yes, i have a couple of ideas but need to set something up when i get a bit of time. Need to find Angelo first.

I wondered who that was too. I thought it may be the name of a Christmas decoration.

Just realised we're chatting on the Christmas photo thread where the photos are supposed to go! I think I'd better remove the last few posts if nobody minds :-) Last time it was just the bump threads needed removing.

I moved these posts to a new thread rather than just delete them :) I'd better keep the photo thread free for photos or they won't be seen easily.

Angelo most certainly is very cool! I hadn't thought about entering more than one photo. I was going to say two now you mention it - but - it could complicate the voting more if some people choose one of your photos and others choose the other, and do the same with everyone else! It's probably best to keep to one. I usually find I'm lucky if I have one decent one! And just pick the best one of the ones I take. I sometimes need another opinion on that from someone else! If there are two or three I like and am not sure I find others have a more instant preference as they didn't take them.

I think you can enter a photo because you have your night cameras and black and white photos can be very atmospheric.

All you need to do is decorate Orko's home. P@h has trees, stars, santas and allsorts for rodents and so does Hobbycraft have christmassy things made from cardboard.
Or make your own.

That is an interesting idea. Thank you for the suggestion. :)

It's a tricky one when they're shy and in a large cage :) Good idea of Beryl's though. Those Rosewood edible Christmas trees could be an option for something to add in the cage he might investigate. They're healthy treats too. If things were on the outside of the cage it could be tricky to get a picture with Orko in the right place for the external decoration!

If I put a sticker or something on a part of the outside of cage he always goes to then he would not go to just because I wanted him to! Haha.

Yup! They are very contrary.

Just put a tofu parcel under the tree and he'll be there to open his pressie.
