Change of routine?

Could the bridge go over the short end instead so more length for it in the sand bath? Or maybe the dimensions don't quite work with the sand bath bridge. The only thing I can think is that the sand bath top edge is lower to the substrate as anything inside it will take up space.

Heres a small fluff for outside height context haha. Like I say getting in as fine as the edge is level almost with steps and bedding its just getting out (so I dont think sinkimg it would help as still same problem?

Maybe fill it with more sand? I know that is messy but I had to do that and Nibbles loves digging in it and it’s easier to step out
