Me mum abandoned me for a few days…been to Dorset wherever that is! Me ‘auntie’ from next door, wherever that is, popped in to feed me, but I didn’t show her me face at all tee hee! She ain’t me auntie really. I know that cos she ain’t a hamster. Come to fink of it, me mum ain’t a hamster neither, so how come she is me mum 🤔 Anyhow me ‘auntie’ knew I were alright tho cos all me goodies had disappeared and I’d trashed me cage a bit lol. Anyway, hamster fans, me mum is home now, so all is right with me world again :) Me mum says I’m looking a bit porky (rude!) and she’s going to cut down on me nuggets!! She’d started giving me extra as she thought I might need them now I’m nearly 2 (please note hamster fans that it is me birthday in exactly 1 weeks time), but although she says I’m looking well, she don’t fink I need the extra nuggets…PAH!

Well, that’s all from me, Blossom, for now. Good to see all me hamster fans on the forum again ❤️

No big plans this year, but I did think as she loved her birthday ‘cake’ with some cheese so much last year, that I would treat her to a ‘cake’ of some kind that includes some cheese 🧀 I do have a few goodies tucked away in the cupboard too so she can have some new bits in her cage 👍

Can't wait to see what you do for Blossoms birthday! What about making a small cheese crisp? I toasted some cheddar just right for Henry and he loved it. Licked his paws plenty after

Happy Birthday Poem for Blossom

The 25th of May has arrived,
A very special day,
When a sleepy little hamster pup opened her eyes and said,
"My life will be full of delight".
Her mother kissed her ears and said,
"You are right. Such a pretty hammy cannot fail to find
A home with people who are gentle, patient and kind".
So the pup grew into a feisty adventurer
Who loved to roam,
To chew and dig and longed for a place of her own.
One day a lady called Lovelyness said, "Hello,
That's a sweet hammy! I'd like to take her home to live with me".
So she adopted her and gave her a name full of hope.
Blossom became our friend,
And here we are, together again.
Wishing Blossom and Dad and Mum
