We buy our hamsters lovely things, provide them with wonderful enclosures and diligently clean them out...but then they come in like a wrecking ball lol Here's a place to post the 'before' and 'after' pictures!

I have two very tidy Syrians at the moment so will have to go on a hunt for some before and after photos! Raffy comes to mind .......... He used to attack a little Rosewood flower basket and I used to find it all over the place! I can only find a couple of before and after photos of the flower basket, but it started off attached to the bars. He kept pulling it down. So I just left it sitting in the corner. And often would find it had been pushed somwhere else or knocked off the shelf completely! He then started peeing in the corner of the shelf where the flower basket was. I gave up in the end, took the flower basket out and put a second toilet in the corner of the shelf - which he completely ignored and never used!

He wasn't really a destroyer but he did like messing things up. In his Plaza 120 there were lots of nice things at floor level and I would find they had all been pushed to the middle of the cage! Presumably he thought they were in the way of him running around.

I've been doing a little cross stitch project. Socks has given me something else to practice needlework on. Not a toy, but I think he enjoyed giving one of my sheets a good chew a few months ago
