Hi, I’m Tan, I’m new to this group but I thought this thread was pretty cute so I thought I’d Join in.
My current hamster is a Syrian called Bailey.
I re homed Bailey when he was brought for a child and they were not interested. I found out he was produced by a hobby breeder and his colouring is called “Champagne dom Spot” with a satin fur type. He was born on the 14th of March 2022 so, he’ll be having his second birthday this week!
Baileys’ my first male Syrian having a history of purely girls but he’ll be my last hamster for a while because I’m starting university this September to become a veterinarian (for the next 5 years) and would like to spend more time with my senior dog once my studies begin.
Bailey is housed in a savic plaza which I’ve modified and attached 2 plazas together. They’re stacked, the bottom plaza has acrylic panels and 10-12” of bedding and his top plaza is filled with toys and a wheel with a couple of different substrates.
When I leave treats on top of the cage, he’s often climbed and chewed through the bag and they’ve poured out into his cage!
