Ask if they can order it in...

Back in May of this year I visited a country store in a village not far from me.
They have a small pet section there and sell some of the "Little One" products. I wanted to buy a bag of the "Little One Dwarf Hamster Food" but they didn't sell it. I asked them if they could order it in for me which they did and it was ready to pick up in less than a week. I phoned them this morning to order another bag. They were very pleased to tell me that they've decided to stock the above food and now have it on there shelves so there is no need for me to order it anymore. They've kindly put a bag aside for me incase they run out. I'm so glad they've decided to stock it so other dwarf hamster owners can buy it too.

It just goes to show it's worth asking your local pet shop if they can order a product in for you. You never know they may decide to stock it in future.

That's a good idea. The shop where i normally buy it can't get enough of it and keeps running out. This food has become very popular.

Well done. You've educated them :)

Brilliant! It's lovely when stores do this. I haven't been as lucky as of yet, but intend to ask again if a local equine and livestock shop will order in some bedding for me (well, for the pigs) as I really hate the shavings and Megazorb/aubiouse is nearly £20 online and I'm hoping to get it cheaper through them. I will ask the independent pet shop in town if they can order in the little ones dwarf mix. Fingers crossed.

The aquatic shop near me had a delivery of Little One dwarf mix and i cleared the shelf yesterday. I know, a bit greedy but i have four little mouths to feed.

Tip, also check aquatic and reptile shops and garden centres.
