One of mine has a bottle, which he is happy with (doesn't leak, I'll link it below). The other has a bottle and a water bowl - he only uses the water bowl. I use the Ikea Glasig tealight holders - a tip given to me by someone else

They are cheap, heavy so can't be knocked over easily and small and just right for a water bowl. But you want to put it somewhere where it is not likely to get fallen in or get bedding in - eg the corner of a shelf perhaps. You get five for £6 so will have some spares. One of mine did get chipped at one point so it's handy having spares.

I use these Ferplast Drinky 75ml water bottles and been using them for years

They have a clip that fastens to cage bars so the bottle sits on the inside of the cage and the spout doesn't have to go through the bars, so easy to take in and out of the holder. They don't leak but also they let water out well. Although I always tap the end of the spout each day to check it's letting water out ok and adjust the tightness of how it fastens to allow more water out if necessary. If you loosen it too much it might drip a tiny bit though. But I have mine over a granite tile or a terracotta plate so if it drips occasionally, the drips get soaked up

This is the granite tile - it's rough granite. From Rodipet. However their postage is expensive even though the tile isn't expensive. Some of their houses have the granite tile on the roof so then you don't need a separate tile. They help keep nails shortened when going for a drink and soak up any spills from the bowl or drips from a bottle. It's heavy so needs to go on a shelf or platform. If you did want to get one, the postage is the same whether you buy one item or a few items, so it can be good to wait till you need a few things - although their website is a bit tempting! I've had mine a long time now so it was worth it. Or you can just use a terracotta plant pot base/saucer which does the same thing.

This is where Higgins bowl is - sort of wedged at one side of the cage next to a hide so it's not somewhere it will be walked over. On the right. There's also a terracotta plant pot base on the shelf (his veg goes on there).
