Thanks both 😊
The exo terra is nice with the two front doors, so much easier to access.
I’m not sure if they’ve got bigger Maz, it’s hard to tell but I think they might have done, I’m not even sure quite how big they get!

They look amazing, what a great new home for them. 😁

I know someone in our house who would 😍 this, I’ll be showing them later. Thanks for sharing.

I’m getting quite addicted to pills ! 🤭

They are very rare & not the easiest to keep so whenever I do see some I just want to give them a nice home ❤️

These little beauties arrived this morning.

Rhopalomeris sp. Pikachu, small millipede species again this time, around 2cm.

They are so cute! It looks like you've given them a wonderful habitat to explore. How sweet they are curled up when sleeping. As you say, one looks quite adventurous! Do they have any kind of hierarchy? Eg is one the pack leader or something?!

I’m not sure about any hierarchy, they do seem to like to live in groups but that one does seem a lot more active & much quicker to explore everything than the others so it will be fun to watch & see if that’s the boss!

Yes that would be interesting to see :-) I guess they are all different, like hamsters :)

Aww, congratulations on the new babies! They are so cute. When they curl up they look a bit like snail shells. It is lovely you have given them such a wonderful home. :)

I’m curious how the rubber ducky pill millipedes are doing? I’m in the US…..just found babies in my pill bins. One of them is the one you call “pikachu” that you just got.

But my buddy in Germany said that the rubber ducky pill millipedes are super hard to breed so I’ve been looking for information on them and came across this thread!

Hello, nice to see another millipede lover & some tiny babies!

There is very little info about Pills I know which makes it difficult to know how best to keep them & I haven’t really given much thought to breeding, as your friend said it does appear that breeding ducky’s is tricky & I haven’t seen anyone with babies, mine are doing fine which is all that concerns me really, babies would be a plus but not something I’m too worried about really.
You’ve done well with your Pikachu, not many have success with breeding those either.

Oh I know, it’s like a shot in the dark lol. I did obsessive research on them almost too much. Forest floor composition papers were a doozy. I kinda was more curious if your originals were still alive. I’ve heard they last about 6 months. I went into it with fully being ok that they may not breed and they might just be pets so it’s been a plus for sure. I’ve got eggs in my other bin, haven’t seen any young yet though. I’m sure there are some it’s just the bin is so cluttered. I keep all kinds of millipedes but there’s just something about the pills!

Hello and welcome! I'm finding it all fascinating! Love those little round white ones! So cute.

Shot in the dark just about sums it up!
There is something special about the pills, I really do love them.
Not all but most of my Ducky pills have survived, I was a bit concerned when I did my research that they may not but they seem to be doing ok.
My enclosures are the same, so much moss & bark & sticks & stuff it’s hard to tell what’s in there.

I only had pill millipedes up until almost two weeks ago when I got some Spirostreptus Sp 1 'Burmese Beauty”, they really are amazing to watch climbing branches & snuggling up together! They look huge compared to the pills.

Little Ducky just found some fresh cucumber.
