Peanut got out of our sandbath playpen (which has been hamster-proof per Luna for months) fell to the floor, got across the living room and over a 17" high metal barrier to Luna, my other Syrian! He broke a leg in the process and is now a "tripod for love". If he got Luna pregnant, we are going to have a SERIOUS TALK about proper hammie behavior.

Well maybe in this case, he needed locking up rather than a parachute! :-) Cheeky hammy. The scent of a female does drive them crazy. How long ago was this? Have you had the pregnancy watch yet?
